We don't publish a fixed price list, because every Eastern Suburbs home is different. A 100-year-old terrace and a 1990s apartment can need very different work for the same job. What we can do is explain what affects the price and give you a written quote before any work starts.
What affects the price
Access
Tight roof spaces in terraces, concrete ceilings in apartments and strata access to meter rooms all affect labour time.
Age and condition of the wiring
Older wiring may need replacing before new work can safely connect to it.
Switchboard capacity
Adding air conditioning, an EV charger or an induction cooktop may need switchboard work first.
Materials
Fittings, chargers and fans vary widely in price. We can quote on what you supply or recommend options.
When the work is done
Urgent work at night, on weekends or on public holidays can be priced differently from a booked weekday job. Ask when you call and we'll tell you before we start.
What we find on inspection
Some faults only show their full extent once circuits are tested. If the scope changes, we stop and explain before going further.
Compliance requirements
Some jobs, such as switchboard replacements and new circuits, need testing and a Certificate of Compliance for Electrical Work. That is part of doing the job properly.
